Welcome to the Full Throttle Racing League!
The Full Throttle Racing League, aka FTR, is a new upcoming league featuring weekly series in iRacing. Though this league is new to iRacing, it is run by members who have experience operating leagues in other sims in the past such as Arca Sim Racing, rFactor and of course Nascar Racing 2003 Season. Now they are collaborating in a joint effort to bring the best racing possible to the world of iRacing in the form of these two upcoming series:

The "Wide Open Cup" SeriesThe Wide Open Cup Series features a schedule that mirrors the schedule of the top-tier NASCAR series, and then hosts an assortment of different tracks during NASCAR's offseason.
This series will run using the Gen 6 Chevrolet SS and the Gen 6 Ford Fusion, with races featuring a moderate length, allowing for enough laps to develop strategy while still forcing competitors to hammer down at all times. The Wide Open Cup Series will consist of four seasons per year, splitting the regular NASCAR schedule into three separate seasons of 12 races, with a fourth season consisting of at least 10 races during NASCAR's offseason, with a variety of tracks that aren't on the regular Cup schedule. The champion of each season will receive $25 for their efforts. In addition, whichever driver scores the most points over the course of the regular 36 race schedule will receive $50. In all, $150 will be on the line each year. |
Several races will be broadcasted live to YouTube by FTRTV. At this time, we plan to broadcast most, if not all, of the All-Out Showdown Series races and a few select races from the Wide Open Cup Series. In addition, there are two non-points races that will be broadcasted to FTRTV: a shootout race at Daytona before the beginning of the regular season, and double feature event featuring a preliminary race with the All-Out Showdown Series followed by the Wide Open Cup Series All-Star Race, both broadcasted live in one big night of racing!
